I've never read Warren's Gen13 run (probably due to an aversion to that team in general), but it's one that I could see myself checking out at some point, if I ever decide to go on another back issue hunting spree. Man, I love me some Adam Warren, and it's true, he can write teens and young adults really well. Not to mention the imaginative exploration of societies and cultures and such. Actually, "imaginative" might be the best word to use to describe him, since that's what he does, constantly coming up with ideas about technology, society, interactions, superpowers, etc. etc. He's awesome.

I need to go back and buy his run on Gen13. I read it via my dad's copies when it was coming out and LOVED it. Probably one of the better 'young superpeople' comics from the big two in the past decade -- or, at least, as you've pointed out, the one that I, as a young adult/teenager, could relate to.
