-It’s another Girlcast! We’ve got a couple of book reviews this time.
-First up is Marguerite Abouet and Clement Oubrerie’s Aya of Yop City
–Aya of Yop City is basically a straight up soap opera.
-Second is Raina Telgemeier’s Smile
–Smile is also pretty soap opera-y– it covers a few years of Telgemeier’s middle school/high school life, with the connective tissue being the fact that she had to get braces after a very relatable catastrophe.
-Disney digression.
-See you, space cowgirl!

heh just noticed you have a panel at WonderCon. If the line for the Doctor Who premiere is too long, I will definitely be there.
I’ll be the nerdy looking one :p
Two things:
1) California Games was AWESOME. I even played it a couple years ago. Still good.
2) The Little Mermaid is the first movie I can remember seeing in the theater, I would have been 4. But these days, I’d rather watch Pinocchio.
